The OSS® LTE UE protocol stack is a 3GPP Release 8 compliant implementation of the LTE protocol stack for User Equipment (UE). The implementation consists of Layer 2, Layer 3, and NAS (Non-Access Stratum). Layer 2 consists of an implementation of the PDCP, RLC, and MAC protocols. Layer 3 consists of an implementation of the RRC protocol layer. NAS supports communication with the MME and provides mobility and session management.

The underlying OSS ASN.1/C encoder/decoder is currently ported to more than 250 platforms giving us the expertise and framework to easily port our LTE UE stack solution to any platform.
