PER bit encodings are hard to understand. Do you have a function that can print out a PER encoding in an easy-to-understand labeled human-readable format?

Yes, you can use the ossPrintPER() function to print PER and UPER encodings in an easy-to-understand/easy-to-parse human-readable format.

And now there is a function ossPrintXPER() that also prints PER and UPER encodings but produces output in a web-friendly XML format.

Please refer to the OSS ASN.1/C API Reference Manual (section 4.3.16, April 2011 edition) for more detail.
