ASN.1 Syntax Checker

OSS is phasing out the old ASN.1 Syntax Checker. We recommend that you check the syntax of your ASN.1 schema either online with our ASN.1 Playground or with ASN.1 Studio, which you can get by downloading a free trial of one of our ASN.1 tools.

ASN.1 Syntax Checker

The easy to use OSS® ASN.1 Syntax Checker verifies the correctness of the syntax of your ASN.1 specifications according to the ASN.1:1990 and ASN.1:2015 standards. A full-featured tool, the OSS ASN.1 Syntax Checker supports conventional ASN.1 notation, as well as the XML and ECN additions of ASN.1.

Now with support for XML (E-XER), ECN, new Time Types

Additionally, the Syntax Checker now supports the recently introduced ASN.1 Time types (Amendment 3 to ITU-T Rec. X.680:2002 | ISO/IEC 8824-1:2002). These new types conform to International Standard ISO 8601:2004 which standardizes representations of date and time to avoid misinterpretations that can occur when communicating across national boundaries.

This tool, built upon the full OSS ASN.1 Compiler, checks both the syntax and semantics of your ASN.1 specification.

The OSS ASN.1 Syntax Checker's graphical user interface makes syntax checking ASN.1 files child's play.
