BioAPI 2.0 Conformance Test Suite Now Available
As biometric standards adoption becomes increasingly mandatory, standards conformity will become a requirement for products and solutions - the US Department of Defense has already mandated conformance to several biometric standards (both BioAPI and CBEFF are "mandated").
Note: In 2004 OSS was awarded a contract to develop a BIOAPI 1.1 conformance test suite for a US Government Agency.
BioFoundry® conformance testing tools address conformity to national as well as international biometric standards. Our standards experts will test and verify the conformity of your biometric implementation to the applicable standards you select. Where conformance testing methodology standards exist, our tools implement those methodologies.
BioFoundry® standards conformance testing tools are based on the execution of test assertions, written in XML, by a test engine. For each test assertion executed, detailed logs are produced. From these logs, a Conformity Report is created, in both XML and HTML form, viewable from a browser. The report and logs provide you with complete documentation of the test, and the test results, enabling you to easily pinpoint and correct error conditions.
