LTE UE Protocol Stack

The OSS LTE protocol stack for User Equipment (UE) is an implementation of Layer 2, Layer 3, and NAS (Non-Access Stratum) optimized for the memory, power, and performance requirements of user devices, including embedded devices. Layer 2 consists of an implementation of the PDCP, RLC, and MAC protocols. Layer 3 consists of an implementation of the RRC protocol layer. NAS supports communication with the MME and provides mobility and session management.
