The easy to use OSS ASN.1 Syntax Checker verifies the correctness of the syntax of your ASN.1 specifications according to the ASN.1:1990 and ASN.1:2002 standards. A full-featured tool, the OSS ASN.1 Syntax Checker supports conventional ASN.1 notation, as well as the XML and ECN additions of ASN.1.
Additionally, the Syntax Checker now supports the recently introduced ASN.1 Time types (Amendment 3 to
ITU-T Rec. X.680:2002 | ISO/IEC 8824-1:2002). These new types conform to International Standard ISO 8601:2004 which standardizes representations of date and time to avoid misinterpretations that can occur when communicating across national boundaries.
This tool, built upon the full OSS ASN.1 Compiler, checks both the syntax and semantics of your ASN.1 specification.

Download Instructions
To download your free copy of the OSS ASN.1 Syntax Checker, simply fill out a short registration form, and review and accept the terms of the license agreement.
You will be sent, via email, a small configuration file, OSSREG, which is required by the OSS ASN.1 Syntax Checker. You will also receive a download link for the OSS ASN.1 Syntax Checker (approx. 2.4 MB).
