OSS Nokalva Joins SG17

Somerset, New Jersey (February 7, 2002) - OSS Nokalva, a leading provider of ASN.1 technology, today announced that it has joined Study Group 17 (SG17). SG17 is an ITU-T group responsible for providing critical technologies underlying security, networking and directory.

SG17 is an ITU-T Study Group that is responsible for studies relating to: data communication networks; application of open system communication networking, directory and security; technical languages, the method for their usage and other issues related to the software aspects of telecommunication. It is also the lead Study Group on frame relay, for communication system security and languages and description techniques.
