The OSS ASN.1 Tools for C++ is the only true C++ development tool available today for building applications using ASN.1. The purpose of this product is to provide the application programmer with a series of C++ classes that allow common programming operations according to the well-known principles of object-oriented programming. This popular product features a powerful compiler, a run-time libary with ASN.1 BER, CER, DER, PER, XER, CXER, and E-XER encoder/decoder engines, and a number of utilities to simplify and speed your development.
The compiler takes ASN.1 specifications as input, and generates C++ classes as well as control tables for encoding/decoding. The OSS toolkit includes a set of run-time libraries designed to implement ASN.1 encoding and decoding functions and perform auxiliary operations on application messages. In addition to the core functionalities, the OSS compiler offers diagnostic capabilities that minimize your development time and effort.

OSSTLV
The OSS TLV Print Utility is included with the OSS ASN.1 Tools for C++. The utility program takes a BER or DER encoding in ASCII or binary format from an input file and writes it to an output file in one of three different type-length-value (TLV) formats.
