Installing the OSS NAS Tools for C# for 5G

Applies to: NAS/C# 5G r16.8.0 v3.2.0

NOTE: For a 30-day trial version, setup the OSSINFOTRIAL environment variable. Its value must specify the absolute pathname of the directory that contains the ossinfonascsharptrial license file (provided separately).

To install the software:

  1. Unzip the nascsharp5GS-r16.8.0_<platform>_<version>.zip file to a directory of your choice.
  2. Open the WELCOME.HTML file in the doc directory, where you will find a link to the NAS/C# API manual in the Product Documentation section, as well as other helpful links.
  3. Run the examples from the samples/ subdirectory of the OSS NAS Tools for C# for 3GPP Release 16.8.0 software installation. For more information, see the README.TXT file in each sample directory.
  4. To develop and run applications that use the NAS/C# API, add references to the ossnascs.dll and ossnas5gs1680cs.dll class libraries to your Visual Studio project.
