Installing the OSS NAS Tools for Java for LTE/EPC

Applies to: NAS/Java LTE/EPC r16.7.0 v3.2.0

NOTE: For a 30-day trial version, copy the ossinfonasjavatrial license file (supplied separately) into the lib/ subdirectory of the OSS NAS Tools for Java for 3GPP Release 16.7.0 software installation. See the WELCOME.HTML file in the doc directory for information on setting up the OSSINFO environment variable.

To install the software:

  1. Unzip the nasjava-r16.7.0_<platform>_<version>.zip file to a directory of your choice.
  2. Open the WELCOME.HTML file in the doc directory, where you will find a link to the NAS/Java API manual in the Product Documentation section, as well as other helpful links.
  3. Run the examples from the samples/ subdirectory of the OSS NAS Tools for Java for 3GPP Release 16.7.0 software installation. Use Apache Ant to build the samples. For more information, see the README.TXT file in each sample directory.
  4. To develop and run applications that use the NAS/Java API, add the ossNAS.jar and ossNAS1670.jar class libraries to your CLASSPATH or project classpath setting.
