In order to switch between the two types of the runtime APIs provided, you have to ASN.1-compile your ASN.1 syntax with the proper corresponding command-line option and then link your application with the proper OSS library file.
To use the space-optimized runtime, you should compile your ASN.1 syntax with the -controlFile option specified.
To use the time-optimized runtime, you should compile your ASN.1 syntax with the -codeFile option specified.
