I used the -code ASN.1 compiler command line option. Why can't I successfully c-compile or c++-compile the ASN.1 compiler output?

When using the time-optimized encoder/decoder (TOED), make sure to compile with the -c++ compiler command line option if you want to C++-compile.

If the TOED is to be used with C-compiled code, then make sure you use the -c (not -c++) command line option when ASN.1 compiling.
