What do I gain by using ossDupWorld() instead of ossinit() to create a copy of the ossGlobal structure?

If you have to repeatedly call the ossinit() function in your application, we suggest that you instead use the ossDupWorld() function. This function can produce a duplicate copy of an already initialized ossGlobal variable in about half the time it takes for a call to ossinit() to complete. It might be useful in multi-threaded environments.
