ASN.1/Java Compiler Options Index

Applies to: ASN.1/Java v8.7

Compiler options enable you to control the behavior of the ASN.1 compiler from the command line, so you can tailor your implementation according to your specific needs.

Compiler options have the following characteristics:

  • They are prefixed by a dash ("-").
  • They can be shortened to the fewest number of characters.
  • They are not case-sensitive.
  • If two command-line options contradict each other, for example, if both -constraint and -noConstraint are specified, the rightmost option is used.
  • Certain options accept operands. Operands are not prefixed with a dash.

The following compiler options are sorted by category. For an alphabetical list, see ASN.1/Java Compiler Options Reference. Note that an option may fall into more than one category. The Basic, Advanced, and Deprecated check boxes enable you to see a particular group of compiler options.
